MY INTERESTS - Outdoor recreation (hiking, backpacking, camping), shooting, time with my amazing family.

 

WHAT ATTRACTED ME TO DENTISTRY - Dentistry allows me to have a positive impact on a daily basis, and to leave my world a better place than I've found it.  By building trust and long-term friendships with my community members through consistently honest and kind care, I'm given the opportunity to take the fear out of dentistry and make it approachable.

 

WHAT IS SOMETHING PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME - I'm an amateur leather worker and bowmaker (bowyer).

IF YOU COULD HAVE A SUPERPOWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE?  Definitely super healing.  Wolverine!

EDUCATION - Graduated from Loma Linda University in 2005.

​

LOCATIONS - Practiced downtown Seattle for 5 years, then moved to Butte County when the opportunity to serve Oroville became available.

​

AFFILIATIONS - Member of ADA (American Dental Association), CDA (California Dental Association), AGD (Academy of General Dentisitry), DOC's (Dental Sedation Training Association).

SCHEDULING SPECIALIST - Melody

 

INTERESTS - I love spending time with my family, camping, and participating in as many activities as I can with my grandchildren.

 

WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO DENTISTRY? - My desire was to work in a small office with a team that treated each other like family.  That is exactly what I found, and I've been with this office for 31 years.

 

IF YOU COULD HAVE A SUPERPOWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE? - The ability to grow plants and not kill them.

REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST - Mai

 

INTERESTS - Hanging out with my 3 boys and husband, baking, going on walks, reading, binge-watching shows, claw machine fanatic and recently really into Legos!

 

WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO DENTISTRY? - I remember always having negative experiences at the dentist when I was a child.  When I was 15 I researched and decided I was gong to work in the dental field and be a source of change.  This is why I always strive for my patients to be comfortable and to always feel they are treated with kindness and respect.

 

WHAT IS SOMETHING PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU? - I was born in a car while my dad was driving my mom to the hospital!  Lets just say it was a wild ride ha ha !

 

IF YOU COULD HAVE A SUPERPOWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE? - Teleportation - I can travel anywhere with no time wasted and see my mom in Minnesota for her delicious home-cooked Hmong food anytime I miss her!

INTERESTS - Spend time with my son, reading, gardening, enjoying time outside especially around lake Oroville or in the mountains.

WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO DENTISTRY? - I've been around the dental field my whole life.  My dad and grandfather were dentists.  I'd always been interested in the dental field, and once I spent time working as a dental assistant, I know it was the field for me!

WHAT IS SOMETHING PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU? - I love shoes!

IF YOU COULD HAVE A SUPERPOWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE? - Wave a magic wand and instantly clean anything!

INTERESTS? -  Anything with my husband and two boys...camping in the mountains, snow trips, 4H, baseball and cattle ranching

WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO DENTISTRY? - I loved my dentist and his office when I was a little girl and always thought it would be fun to work there!  I also love the patients we get to spend time with as part of our dental family!

WHAT IS SOMETHING PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU? - I buy Double Stuffed Oreos "for my boys" then tend to hide them so I don't have to share :)!

​

IF YOU COULD HAVE SUPERPOWERS, WHAT WOULD IT BE? - Mom Power to do things in lightening speed to free up more time for fun things with my kids!

WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO DENTISTRY - My mom was a dental assistant and I always wanted to follow in her footsteps

WHAT IS SOMETHING PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU - I have a few tattoos and I'm ready to get another one :)

IF YOU COULD HAVE A SUPERPOWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE - The ability to fly (like a helicopter), because that's the kind of Momma I am, LOL!
