I drive five hours to visit Dr. Appel's dentist's office for many reasons. One, because for the first time, I don’t have anxiety about getting dental work done. Appel and his staff are kind and understanding, and the dentistry work is phenomenal and honest. Thank you, Dr. Appel and staff, for curing my anxiety and getting my smile on track :-)
I damaged and broke a molar and tried getting into my Dentist and was told it would be 3 days until they could see me and cost excessive amount to just see me and determine the problem. I was in so much pain and saw a beautiful Dental office off Myers and decided to call and see if they were accepting new patients. The receptionist was so kind and said they could see me that day. I was blown away at the kindness and inviting feeling everyone gave me. The Dentist was kind, professional and explained every step as he worked on me. They told me they did not want any surprises with cost, so they let me know all costs before any of the work was done. I walked out with a solution and am switching my family to this Dentist Immediately. It's such a comforting feeling having confidence that your dentist is looking out for your best interest. Today, less than 15 hours later I am in little to no pain. Simply put, Dr. Appel and his team are absolutely amazing.
I've been coming to see Dr. Appel since he came to Butte county. We are so blessed to have such a wonder doctor and office in town. The dental hygienist was through and fast. Their office is clean and comfortable. The front office staff have always been helpful and kind. When I call, if they don't answer they always return my call promptly. Going to the dentist can cause a lot of anxiety for some people but this office has an atmosphere that really combats that.
Dr Appel and all his staff are very nice and professional and they make you feel comfortable. I have never had any dentist in my past explain to me in a way I could understand like Dr. Appel does! I would and will recommend him to anyone in need of excellent dentist! Thank you Dr Appel and staff for taking care of my dental needs!
Best and most honest dentist in Oroville. I never had good teeth or a great smile and Dr. Appel was amazing!! I can't stop smiling!! I suggest listening to what he says and be patient and the results are amazing!! I went to 2 other dentists for quotes and Dr. Appel was recommended and I went for a third quote and was so pleased with the honesty, comfort, and knowledge that I chose Dr. Appel. I give him 10 stars!!!
